Xenses Park by Xcaret

Open Your Senses in Riviera Maya

Riviera Maya is known for its incredible beaches, amazing clubs & adventurous activities, basically it’s paradise! So if you are visiting any of its destinations I’m sure you are looking for things to do. In a previous post, I wrote a Step by Step guide to Xcaret, the most famous eco-theme park of the region. Well, the same company, Experiencias Xcaret, has just opened its 8th attraction, an unbelievable sensorial theme park called Xenses.

The park opened just a week ago and I’ve already been there twice! So on this post, I’m gonna share my personal experience and tips to visit Xenses.

The park is located in Playa del Carmen, right next to Xcaret & Xplor parks. There is a special 50% off for children. Plus, if you book online you can get up to 15% off if you do it in advance. For a few extra bucks you can also get round transportation from and to your hotel in Cancun, Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya.

Adult Admission in USD
Kids Admission in USD

A  good thing about Xenses is that it is a half-day park, the visit lasts for about 5 hours, so you can still have the rest of the day to enjoy your all inclusive hotel, do another activity or visit another park, such as Xplor Fuego.

Once you’re there your jaw will drop. I don’t want to get into details because part of the fun is discovering it, but I will tell this: you’ll be covered in mud, walk in complete darkness, fly the skies and drink lemonade directly from a tree, among other amazing activities! I really enjoyed taking pictures at the several cool photo spots throughout the Park.

The company has done it again! The park is really something unique. Keep in mind these tips before you go:

  • Bring a bathing suit, you’ll actually be wearing it all the time.
  • Bring a towel, water shoes or flip flops and dry clothes.
  • Extra money for photos, snacks, and the really cool souvenir store.
  • The park is not suitable for children under 5 years old or adults over 65 unless they are fit.
